Faith

6.png

The final stone was the most powerful of all. Faith was the thread that wove all the lessons together. It was faith that guided David’s vision, strengthened his courage, sustained his discipline, and fueled his persistence.

Faith sustains us through hard times and gives us a reason to keep going. Faith reminds us that our battles belong to the Lord and that our role is to trust in Him, act boldly, and let Him do the rest. He has a grand plan for each of us and when we start to believe in His promises, we can become who we were meant to be. Faith is believing that wherever you are right now is exactly where you are supposed to be.

•    Are there areas where you struggle to trust in God’s plan? What holds you back?
•    What is one situation in your life where you need to step forward in faith rather than fear?

•    How do you show your faith in God's plans for you?

•    How can you strengthen your faith in times of uncertainty or hardship?

I wrote this stone to be the smallest yet the most beautiful because Jesus taught that if we had faith even the size of a mustard seed, we could do amazing things. Often our faith starts of small, but it is beautiful in its simplicity. The idea of trusting that the Lord will always care for us is beautiful.

Just as a farmer plants seeds each year with the faith that they will turn into a healthy crop many months later, we can have faith that our efforts will be seen and rewarded by the Lord. This is called the law of the harvest and it is echoed in the Bible when it says, "A man reaps what he sows." (Galatians 6:7).

Just as we have faith that the sun will rise each day, you can have faith that the Lord knows you and He knows your struggles. You can have faith that He will help you through the hard times and lead you into the right paths.
